Heather Futrell has been assisting and empowering women since 2014, training with DONA to become a doula shortly after the birth of her first daughter. She is also a birth assistant at a local birthing center. Heather has always had a passion for childbirth but was inspired at her own birth to become a doula and begin giving unbiased, compassionate, and continuous support to women and their partners. Working with women in labor and birth has opened Heather’s eyes to the power women have within and it has really inspired her to help families have better birth experiences in and out of the hospital. The journey of parenthood is an incredible experience and she is always honored when chosen to play a part in it. When she is not attending births, you will likely find her spending time with her two little girls and husband, cooking delicious vegetarian food, or traveling. Services: birth doula.
